Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Developer with 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing to join the engineering team at Shipturtle.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases while also contributing to automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to ensure reliable releases and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects
• Work closely with the engineering and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Contribute to automation test scripts and frameworks
• Validate REST APIs and backend workflows
• Participate in release cycles and sprint testing
• Ensure product quality, performance, and stability

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts
• Hands-on exposure to Automation Testing tools
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Familiarity with test case design and bug tracking tools
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum development environment
• Basic understanding of databases and backend workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to have

• Experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright or similar automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing integration-heavy platforms
• Basic understanding of performance testing
