QA / Release Manager

Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced QA / Release Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive the quality and timely release of our products. This role involves defining testing procedures, implementing test automation, and certifying readiness for release to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement comprehensive testing procedures.
• Choose and implement test automation tools and strategies.
• Certify and approve software readiness for production releases.
• Ensure all Jira work items include agreed-upon definitions of done (DoD) to ensure proper text coverage.
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software releases.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software quality assurance and release management.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and other project management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with the Atlassian Cloud platform.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
