QA Engineer
About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
QA Engineer to join our engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products through both manual and automated testing. If you have a sharp eye for bugs and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and similar frameworks
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile team
- Ensure test coverage across all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Continuously improve testing processes, strategies, and documentation
- Contribute to test planning and help define QA best practices across the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 23 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies test planning, test case design, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automated UI testing
- Experience with at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for writing test scripts
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, PyTest, Mocha, or Cypress
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Good grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools like Jira
- Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Good to Have
- Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Appium for web/mobile automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or k6
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave
- Basic understanding of SQL for database validation
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
AI Tools Proficiency
We embrace
AI-assisted workflows and encourage our QA engineers to leverage modern AI tools for smarter and faster testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Claude (Anthropic), Cursor for AI-assisted scripting and automation code generation
- Ability to use AI tools to speed up test documentation and test data generation
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated scripts to ensure accuracy and reliability
