Description
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager for our mechanical engineering team in DOHA QATAR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control within the mechanical sector, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for mechanical engineering projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes and results.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control techniques and best practices.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for non-conformities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12-16 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the mechanical sector.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with inspection and testing methods for mechanical components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
