Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a QA/QC Manager located in Vasai. The QA/QC Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the quality assurance and quality control processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring manufacturing processes, performing product inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing a team of quality control personnel, and collaborating with the production team to resolve any product or process quality issues. The role also involves creating and implementing quality management systems, maintaining documentation for audits, and driving quality improvements within the organization.
Qualifications
- Understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including creating and implementing quality standards and documentation
- Experience in manufacturing, specifically in pipe fittings and flanges, with knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM, IS, and other specifications
- Proficiency in inspecting products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a quality control team effectively
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify and resolve quality-related issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to prepare reports and support audits
- Familiarity with metallurgical properties of materials such as Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, and Stainless Steel is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage
- Having knowledge of IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations)
