Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khurda for QA/QC Managers and Assistant Managers in an Aluminium Rolling Mill and Conductors unit. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring quality control procedures across aluminium rolling and conductor manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality standards, supervising inspection and testing activities, analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry and regulatory requirements. The position requires close collaboration with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement. The role also includes preparing and maintaining documentation, leading audits, training team members on quality practices, and supporting customer complaints investigation and corrective actions.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC practices in metal manufacturing, preferably in aluminium rolling mills and conductors.
• Experience with quality standards and systems (e.g., ISO, statistical quality control, process audits) and their practical implementation on the shop floor.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and process parameters relevant to rolling and conductor production.
• Skills in inspection and testing methods, including dimensional checks, mechanical testing, surface quality evaluation, and non-destructive testing where applicable.
• Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., Pareto, fishbone, 5-Why) for continuous improvement.
• Experience in documentation and report writing for quality records, SOPs, control plans, and audit compliance.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to supervise QA/QC teams, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and guide shop floor personnel.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple quality initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
