QA QC Inspector Welding

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled QA QC Inspector Welding with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in welding inspection and quality control, as well as possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) such as radiography, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle inspection
• Verify welding procedures and qualifications of welders
• Perform welder qualification tests
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Provide technical support to welding and fabrication personnel
• Participate in internal and external audits

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in welding inspection and quality control
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification
• Expertise in welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and codes such as ASME, AWS, and API
• Strong knowledge of NDT techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
