Role Overview:
A QA/QC professional is responsible for ensuring that products, services, or projects meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves both process-oriented (QA) and product-oriented (QC) activities, focusing on defect prevention and defect identification, respectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of production or project execution.
- Analyze data and document deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, suppliers, etc.) to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product or project quality.
- Train team members on QA/QC processes and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a QA/QC role (manufacturing, construction, or relevant industry).
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
