Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in quality assurance and quality control for construction, engineering, or industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes, materials, and workmanship comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project specifications, and client requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented

Quality Control (QC)

  • Perform inspections of materials, processes, and finished works
  • Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications
  • Coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues and non-conformances
  • Review test reports, material submittals, and vendor documents

Site & Project Execution

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits
  • Monitor construction/production activities for adherence to quality standards
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and third-party inspectors
  • Track and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain quality documentation including reports, checklists, and records
  • Prepare quality reports and present updates to management and clients
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and project handovers

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.)
  • Familiarity with engineering/construction or manufacturing quality practices
  • Proficiency in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Experience with inspection tools and testing methods
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related field)
  • Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, manufacturing, or EPC projects
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards (ASME, ASTM, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience in handling client audits and third-party inspections
