Job Title: QA/QC Engineer / Lab Engineer
Location: Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP), Bengaluru
Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer / Lab Engineer shall be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control systems at the Multi-Modal Logistics Park project site in Bengaluru. The role involves monitoring construction quality, conducting material testing, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements, and maintaining proper documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures as per the approved Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct and supervise field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, bitumen, and steel.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and relevant IS codes.
- Maintain records of test results, calibration of lab equipment, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective/preventive actions, and follow up for closure.
- Ensure proper mix design, quality checks, and adherence to safety and environmental norms.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 38 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects (roads, logistics parks, industrial projects, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, laboratory testing standards, and documentation practices.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of IS codes and quality standards.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
