Job description:

Position: QA-QC & R&D Head

Location: Morbi, Gujarat

Experience: 15+ Years

Education: M.Sc. Chemistry / M.Tech / B.Tech Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Industry: Silicate / Inorganic Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete QA, QC and R&D functions.
• Manage quality standards, specifications, SOPs and testing procedures.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Sodium Silicate, Potassium Silicate, Metasilicates and Specialty Silicates.
• Lead new product development and formulation improvement.
• Handle laboratory operations, testing, calibration and quality systems.
• Drive process optimization, troubleshooting and cost reduction.
• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and technical issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchase, Dispatch and Management.
• Conduct and manage quality audits and customer technical requirements.
• Lead, train and develop QA-QC and R&D teams.
• Support plant-scale trials and commercialization of new products.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Silicate or Inorganic Chemical industry.
• Strong experience in QA, QC and R&D leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of chemical testing, product specifications and process control.
• Experience in product development and plant-level technical troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to independently handle the complete technical function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
