QA Python Test Automation

Required skills and experience

• Strong Python programming skills and ability to write clean, maintainable automation code.
• Practical experience with Playwright (Python) and pytest as the test runner.
• Experience in REST API testing and automation using requests/httpx (or similar); familiarity with JSON schema validation.
• Experience with test management and issue tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail or similar).
• Experience executing manual test cases and manual regression testing in addition to automation.
• Good understanding of core testing concepts, test design techniques and quality metrics.
• Basic-to-intermediate SQL skills for validating data against databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for test execution and reporting.
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and common authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
• Experience with functional testing and basic non-functional checks (stability/reliability).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work with product teams to translate requirements into test cases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• 4+ years of relevant QA/automation experience with hands-on use of Python, Playwright and pytest.
