QA (Playwright)

Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in Playwright to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in the software application.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and user stories.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new releases.
• Maintain and update the test automation framework as necessary.
• Generate test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks, particularly Playwright.
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing test scripts.
• Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
