Job Title: QA & Performance Engineer

We are hiring a full-time QA & Performance Engineer to lead both functional validation and performance testing across our suite of web platforms, mobile applications, and backend services. This role combines structured manual quality assurance with load and stress testing of APIs and systems to ensure that all software is reliable, performant, and ready for real-world usage.
The role will work closely with the Engineering Lead, DevOps, and development teams, and requires attention to detail, ownership, and a deep understanding of both feature-level testing and system-level reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Perform manual testing across mobile applications, web platforms, and backend services
- Conduct API testing using Postman or equivalent tools to validate correctness and stability
- Develop and execute load and stress tests using tools such as JMeter, k6, or equivalent
- Monitor system behavior under load in collaboration with DevOps, and interpret metrics from tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Identify functional bugs, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues before production release
- Track and document issues using structured reporting, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in sprint planning, release readiness assessments, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, execution logs, and test cycles
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to both manual testing and performance testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and structured bug reporting
- Proficiency in tools such as Postman (for API testing) and JMeter, k6, or equivalent (for load testing)
- Experience testing across web and mobile applications, preferably including React Native-based platforms
- Basic knowledge of backend systems, REST APIs, and interpreting performance metrics under load
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and ability to coordinate with DevOps for performance validation
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and test execution
