QA Manual Tester

Job description:

Exp: 3 - 7 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure testing is conducted according to project timelines and deliverables.
• Participate in test planning, test strategy, and requirement analysis discussions.
• Provide clear and concise QA status reports and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle .
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile and desktop applications .
• Experience with test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.) .
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries for data validation).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
