Job Description
Must haves: Manual Testing, Web Testing, API Testing, Test cases, SQL, STLC, Communication skills, Jira
Good to Have: Cucumber BDD.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases.
- Capable to write medium complexities SQL queries for Data validation
- Conduct manual testing of web application features across various functionalities and user flows.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and report software defects using a bug tracking tool like Jira.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions to provide testing insights and feedback.
- Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and ensure proper regression testing.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Contribute to a culture of quality by advocating for testing throughout the development process.
Skills:
- Experience in Web application testing.
- API testing experience
- Knowledge of Gherkin format of test cases creation
- Agile methodology - process and ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to Zyphyr test management tool
- Extensive Experience with JIRA
- Extensive experience in test case, scenario & test plan creation
