QA Manual - Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

. Analyse requirements and system specifications to design effective test strategies.

. Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.

. Perform functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing across multiple web applications.

. Experienced in identifying, documenting and tracking bugs using Defect Management tools

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

. Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and provide input on testability and quality risks.

. Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure resolution.

. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

. Hands-on experience in manual software testing.

. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

. Experience with test management and bug tracking tools.

. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.

. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.

. Good understanding of STLC process

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

. Experience testing web applications.

Good to Have Skills:

. Experience in Defect Management Tool- TFS or JIRA is a plus.

. Basic knowledge of SQL server, able to write basic queries.
