Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Manager for our Tool Room to oversee quality assurance processes and ensure the highest standards of quality in our tooling operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for the Tool Room.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to quality assurance activities and findings.
- Ensure that all quality control processes are adhered to and continuously improved.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or tool room environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies and tools such as statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing processes is a plus.
