Job Description

Introduction

This role will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to embed quality into every stage of delivery—supporting high‑velocity releases while maintaining trust, stability, and operational excellence across mission‑critical consumer services.

Key Responsibilities

QA Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a long‑term quality strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Establish measurable quality standards across all products and initiatives
  • Act as the quality authority for major platform and business transformations

Process & Productivity Optimization

  • Design and continuously improve test management frameworks
  • Increase efficiency through tooling, standardization, and automation

Multi‑Initiative Oversight

  • Track quality and test execution across multiple concurrent projects
  • Provide clear risk assessment and quality reporting to stakeholders

Test Governance

  • Review and approve test plans, scenarios, specifications, and automation assets
  • Ensure consistency and traceability across manual and automated testing

QA Delivery Model Design

  • Develop hybrid on‑site and remote testing strategies
  • Optimize collaboration between internal teams and external partners

People & Organization Management

  • Build and scale the QA organization through hiring and workforce planning
  • Coach QA Leads, Test Engineers, and Automation Specialists
  • Conduct performance evaluation and career development planning

Budget & Resource Control

  • Own budget planning and cost optimization for QA activities

Automation Expansion

  • Drive automation testing adoption and maturity across services
  • Identify opportunities to integrate automation earlier in the development lifecycle

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years of hands‑on experience in system‑level testing, covering both manual and automated testing
  • Proven expertise in test planning, design, execution, and quality assessment
  • 5+ years managing testing or development efforts across multiple parallel projects
  • 3+ years in people management, including hiring, evaluation, organizational planning, and budget ownership
  • Strong practical knowledge of structured testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB‑level fundamentals and advanced concepts)
  • Solid understanding of quality management frameworks and defect prevention strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with non‑functional testing (performance, reliability, security)
  • Background in large‑scale online services or digital platforms
  • Prior hands‑on software development experience
  • Proactive problem‑solver who actively brings stakeholders together
  • Strong communicator comfortable working across technical and non‑technical teams
