Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of quality assurance processes, and experience in managing a team of QA professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and plans.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing processes and methodologies.
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for various software products.
- Monitor and report on software quality metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for defects and issues.
- Participate in project planning and provide input on quality-related activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-9 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
