Main Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with contractual requirements and applicable quality standards.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with SAR specifications, approved procedures, technical standards, and contract requirements.
- Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and inspection checklists.
- Monitor quality performance across track maintenance, structures maintenance, workshop operations, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits to verify compliance with the Quality Management System and project procedures.
- Coordinate inspections with SAR representatives and ensure timely closure of observations and non-conformities.
- Review inspection reports, maintenance records, quality documentation, and test results to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring deficiencies.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality and recommend continual improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper control, distribution, and maintenance of quality documentation, records, and project procedures.
- Support technical teams by providing guidance on quality requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with the HSE Manager, Planning Engineer, District Managers, and Workshop Manager to ensure quality objectives are achieved throughout the project.
- Conduct quality awareness sessions and training programs to promote continuous improvement and compliance with project quality requirements.
- Participate in management review meetings, technical reviews, inspections, and client quality meetings.
- Ensure subcontractors and suppliers comply with the project quality requirements and approved procedures.
- Prepare periodic quality reports and submit performance summaries, audit findings, and improvement recommendations to Project Management and SAR.

Required Academic Qualification
- Qualification
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.

- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor Certification.
- Quality Management System (QMS) certification is desirable.
- Additional railway quality certification will be an advantage.
- Years of Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for railway and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems on large multidisciplinary maintenance contracts.
- Experience in audits, inspections, quality documentation, and client quality management.
