Job Title: QA Lead

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Hyderabad/Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a QA team, driving test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management across multiple projects.
• Own and execute 70% manual testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing.
• Contribute to 30% automation testing efforts, identifying automation opportunities and improving test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts in an Agile environment.
• Review requirements, create test plans, test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Track quality metrics, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous process improvements and quality best practices across the QA function.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing with expertise in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and managing testing activities across the SDLC/STLC.
• Good hands-on experience in Test Automation Frameworks and automation strategy.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Playwright is a strong plus.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
