As QA Lead, you will own the quality strategy, execution, and automation framework for our SaaS platform. You will lead a team of QA engineers, both manual and automation, to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of functionality, security, and performance. You will also be responsible for validating AI-generated code outputs through automated and manual testing, ensuring the reliability of AI-assisted development in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the QA strategy for our multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Be hands-on with automation framework development and test execution.
- Lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing for backend APIs, frontend UI, and data/ML services.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Conduct performance, security, and compliance testing (SOC 2 GDPR).
- Build test harnesses and validation suites for AI-generated code.
- Maintain quality metrics and ensure defects are tracked, prioritised, and resolved.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years in QA roles, 3+ years in a QA leadership role.
- Strong experience in SaaS/cloud QA automation.
- Hands-on with automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman/Newman.
- Strong understanding of API, performance, and security testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing AI-driven code generation workflows.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in multi-tenant SaaS testing environments.
- Familiarity with AWS-based deployments.
- Experience with compliance testing for SOC 2 and GDPR
