Job Description

Description:

  • Check the live platform twice a day (login, dashboards, device data, alerts, reports, APIs) and escalate critical (P0/P1) issues within 30 minutes.
  • Own the go/no-go sign-off for every release, both cloud and on-premise.
  • Write detailed test cases from product documents and PRDs, covering positive, negative, boundary and user- permission scenarios, and keep every requirement linked to a test case.
  • Validate client compliance reports clause by clause against the live software, with evidence (screenshots, videos, logs).
  • Run security tests on web apps and APIs based on the OWASP Top 10: login and access control, IDOR, input validation and direct API testing. Track vulnerabilities by severity and support external VAPT audits.
  • Build and maintain automated smoke and regression tests (UI and API) that run in the CI/CD pipeline before every release.
  • Test across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, major browsers, and screen sizes from laptop to 4K.
  • Track page load time, API response time and memory use per release.
  • Test data accuracy end to end, from device to cloud to dashboard, including missing data, duplicates and timestamps.
  • Log bugs with clear severity (P0–P3), verify fixes, run root-cause analysis on escaped bugs, and maintain a QA dashboard.
  • Guide and review the work of 1–2 QA engineers, and maintain QA process documents (SOPs).
  • Use AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) to speed up test scripts, test case writing and log analysis.

What we're looking for

  • 3–4 years in software QA, with at least 2 years on enterprise web or SaaS applications.
  • Strong test case design and test planning, including requirement-to-test traceability.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one UI automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Cypress or Selenium) and
  • one API testing tool (e.g. Postman).
  • Working knowledge of security testing: OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization, API security.
  • Experience with load or performance testing tools (e.g. k6 or JMeter) and browser DevTools (Network, Console, Lighthouse).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and basic SQL for data checks.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp or Linear.
  • Clear written communication for bug reports, test reports and compliance evidence.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing IoT or real-time data platforms (MQTT, device-to-cloud data).
  • Exposure to VAPT, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 processes.
  • Experience testing on-premise installs, including upgrades and rollbacks.
  • Experience mentoring junior testers.
  • Hands-on use of AI coding agents in QA work.
