Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor the QA team in implementing automated testing frameworks.
- Provide guidance on best practices, standards, and test strategy execution.
- Perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure maintainability and quality.
Test Automation & Execution
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web applications using Python and Playwright.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve test automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
Collaboration & Process Management
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective test strategies.
- Define, enforce, and optimize QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Manage test environments and coordinate testing activities across multiple releases.
CI/CD & Tooling Integration
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Stay updated with latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in QA automation with strong Python expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
- Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest or unittest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
- Strong scripting, debugging, and version control skills (Git).
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Selenium or Cypress.
- API testing using Postman or REST-assured.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
