QA Lead

About Position:

We are seeking a skilled QA Lead with hands-on experience in building scalable, real-time data streaming applications.

What You'll Do:

• Lead QA Strategy: Define and implement quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices across projects.
• Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and ensure timely execution for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide QA engineers, allocate tasks, and ensure high productivity and quality output.
• Automation Ownership: Drive test automation strategy, select tools, and oversee automation framework development and maintenance.
• Defect Management: Track, analyze, and report defects; collaborate with development teams for quick resolution.
• Quality Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs, monitor quality metrics, and present reports to stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential quality risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative QA practices and tools.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong in SQL
• Strong Manual Database testing
• Test cases development, execution, and capture results
• JIRA/Confluence
• Should have hands-on to work as individual contributor on testing activities
• Should be able to work as test lead and drive testing team with 1-2 team members
