QA Lead - Astroyogi.com
Roles and Responsibilities -
The incumbent should have 6-7 years of Test automation experience
Atleast 4-5 years experience in leading a team of automation testers
Lead several QA engineers for dedicated stream
Build communication among teams
Be responsible for organize teamwork
An understanding and experience of test automation strategy, how to execute within a continuous
delivery environment
Maintaining robust and cohesive automated suites of tests across different types of environments
Selection or identification of test cases for automation from existing test case documentation
Creating/Updating an automation test plan/strategy and getting approval
Select, Design, develop, and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using
Selenium WebDriver. (TestNG, BDD, Hybrid, and existing framework using Cucumber)
Configure Selenium Test Environment for setup (ex: Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG,
Jenkins, etc.)
Creating/Updating, Enhancing, Debugging, and Running Test scripts
Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression
tests, and generating Automatic reports
Scheduling the scripts to run and send reports to the Team and stakeholders.
Coordinate with Team and client and solve their issues in the scripts and giving trainings.
API Automation using rest assured/postman.
Performing code reviews and implementing the industry best practices.
Desired Abilities and Aptitude
The ideal candidate should have a desire to gain experience testing.
You will have experience in the development of automated test scripts by using
Selenium, and a successful track record for QA involvement throughout the
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The individual will need practical knowledge and experience with both AGILE and
Waterfall development methodologies and will be used to a fast paced development
driven environment.
