Role Overview
We are looking for a
QA Lead to take end-to-end ownership of the quality assurance function across our product suite. This role goes beyond execution — you will define QA strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality releases for enterprise-grade financial systems.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to drive a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices across products
- Build and scale automation frameworks from scratch
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
Automation & Testing
- Design and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python) and Playwright
- Develop and execute API automation tests using Postman and Rest Assured
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
- Conduct manual testing for early-stage features and critical releases
Performance & System Validation
- Execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter
- Perform backend and database validation using PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Ensure high reliability of data-intensive financial systems
CI/CD & DevOps Integration
- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Set up and maintain automated testing environments
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define test scenarios and ensure complete coverage
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage defect lifecycle
- Drive quality across continuous releases
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Work with cloud environments like AWS and Azure
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in manual and automation testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java/Python) and Playwright
- Solid experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Good knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred
