Job Description
As a QA Lead Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to define and lead our quality assurance process.You will play a critical role in defining our QA process from the ground up.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end QA activitiesstrategy, planning, and executionfor communication API products and associated web interfaces.
Write and maintain automated test scripts focusing on APIs and UI workflows.
Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions early.
Provide QA status updates, metrics, and quality indicators during sprint reviews and release planning.
Own bug tracking and reportingwork closely with developers to reproduce, triage, and verify fixes.
Lead, mentor, and train junior QA engineers to ensure high-quality testing standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with manual & automation testing across web applications and APIs. Have experience in multiple device and browser testing.
Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar).
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
Familiarity with load/performance testing (JMeter, Locust).
Experience testing SAAS platforms, messaging APIs, or AI chatbot solutions.
Exposure to AI-powered QA tools (e.g., Testim, AccelQ, Tricentis Tosca with AI features, etc.) is a plus.
Qualifications
6+ years in a QA Engineer or SDET role, ideally in SaaS or API-driven environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced team.
Attention to detail and a passion for breaking things (constructively).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
