Job Title: QA Lead – Data Platform (Insurance Domain)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to lead quality assurance for an enterprise-scale data platform in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data testing, ETL/ELT validation, Snowflake, dbt, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, SQL, and Power BI, with experience validating both batch and real-time data pipelines.
Locations (Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Kolkata
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy and execution for enterprise data platforms.
- Validate data across Raw, Silver, and Gold layers for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform source-to-target reconciliation and data quality validation.
- Test batch (AWS Glue) and real-time (Amazon Kinesis) data pipelines.
- Validate dbt transformations, Snowflake data models, and Power BI reports.
- Develop automated data testing frameworks using SQL, Python, and data quality tools.
- Execute performance, scalability, and data governance testing.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure high-quality data delivery.
Required Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in Data QA, ETL Testing, or Data Validation.
- 3+ years of QA Lead experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience with data reconciliation, data quality frameworks, and test automation.
- Python experience is preferred.
- Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Raw/Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Preferred
- Experience in the Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Billing).
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting, audit, and reconciliation processes.
