Role Overview
The QA Lead will be responsible for validating data ingestion pipelines and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data platform. The team will design and execute test strategies to verify data quality across ingestion, transformation, and data delivery layers.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall QA strategy for data ingestion and data platform initiatives.
- Lead a team of QA engineers responsible for validating ETL pipelines and data transformations.
- Design test plans, test cases, and data validation frameworks.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements.
- Establish automated testing frameworks for data validation and pipeline monitoring.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency across systems.
- Track defects, manage testing cycles, and report quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support release validation and production deployment readiness.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in QA or data testing.
- Experience testing ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
- Experience with data warehouse platforms and large datasets.
- Experience leading QA teams in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools for data testing.
- Knowledge of Databricks or big data platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
