Roles And Responsibilities
- Proactive, motivated to learn new concepts and execute on the manual labor of QA regression testing in equal measures
- Does not simply take tasks/test cases to blindly pass or reject one by one, but rather appreciates the full context of what they are doing, and why they are testing what they are testing
- Kind, humble, and willing to be transparent with their work and provide constructive feedback for others as well
Required Skills
- 10+ years of QA work in highly complex, integrated systems spanning multiple different tech stacks
- Knowledge of test case management suits like TestRails, or others
- Understand how to operate Postman (or other API testing/SIT capabilities) for manual testing to assist developers in their unit testing
- Functional know-how of automated testing suites like Selenium, or others
- Ability to understand the business context within which they operate, knows when to ask the integration/quality questions as tech leads/developers design solutions jointly with this QA resource.
