Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and reporting on manual and automated tests
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases
Coordinate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
Ensure timely delivery of test results and quality metrics
Review test scripts and automation frameworks
Guide team members on best QA practices, tools, and methodologies
Conduct risk analysis and contribute to go/no-go decisions
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and efficiency
Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to QA team members
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 12 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases (manual and automated)
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
