About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to establish and lead the quality assurance function across our fintech platform. This role will own testing strategy, regression practices, release validation, and end-to-end quality across APIs, onboarding workflows, internal tools, and third-party integrations.
Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the QA/testing function, setting standards, processes, and best practices across the platform.
- Define and maintain the overall testing strategy for new features, fixes, enhancements, and release validation.
- Establish structured regression testing and ensure consistent quality gates before every release.
- Oversee end-to-end testing across middleware, APIs, client onboarding workflows, internal tools, automation systems, and third-party integrations such as core banking, AML, CRM, and payment platforms.
- Design, review, and execute test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and release testing.
- Build and maintain regression suites, starting with manual testing and gradually expanding into automation.
- Work closely with Fintech, IT/Solutions, Product, Compliance, and implementation teams to validate workflows and release readiness.
- Support testing of workflows that impact regulatory processes, client operations, and platform stability.
- Identify defects, track issues to closure, and provide clear reporting on test status, risks, and release confidence.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or test engineering.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers or testing teams.
- Strong hands-on experience in API testing and integration testing.
- Experience with end-to-end workflow testing across distributed systems or microservices-based environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Good to have skills:
- Experience with test automation framework design.
- Exposure to CI/CD validation and release pipelines.
- Experience testing regulated or compliance-heavy financial systems.
- Understanding of data flows between systems and third-party integrations.
- Experience with performance, smoke, sanity, and negative testing.
