Job Title: QA Lead

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take on a strategic and leadership role within an Agile, cross-functional team. Working closely with product stakeholders, UX designers, and developers, this person will drive quality initiatives, mentor QA engineers, and ensure scalable, high-quality delivery across mobile and IoT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and product vision
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all active projects
- Advocate for shift-left testing, integrating quality early in the development lifecycle
- Oversee test planning, execution, automation, and reporting across multiple releases
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality is embedded in architecture and design decisions
- Drive the test automation strategy and ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of automation frameworks
- Monitor quality metrics, identify risks, and proactively address issues before they reach production
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across mobile apps, APIs, microservices, and IoT systems
- Lead release readiness reviews and own go/no-go decisions from a QA perspective
- Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve team efficiency
Technical Qualifications
- Deep expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation using Python and Appium
- Experience designing and scaling automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, or equivalent)
- Proven experience testing mobile apps, APIs, integration workflows, end-to-end flows, performance, security, and accessibility
- Track record of leading QA teams and managing delivery across multiple concurrent projects
- Familiarity with modern mobile technologies (Swift, Kotlin, Espresso, XCUITest a plus)
- Strong understanding of quality metrics, reporting, and risk management
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT ecosystems and connected device testing
- Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud environments
- Experience implementing AI-driven or advanced test automation strategies
