About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, and Agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and application workflows
- Create and execute test cases based on functional requirements
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Assist in preparing test reports and test documentation
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques
- Understanding of bug tracking and defect lifecycle
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Only from Tier 1 or IIT/ NIT Institution
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
- Understanding of web technologies and browser testing
- Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage
