QA Engineer – ETL Testing

Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure the quality, usability, and accuracy of ETL Testing. This role involves planning and executing both manual and automated tests, documenting defects, and collaborating.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong experience in Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience in ETL Testing.
- Advanced-level SQL skills.
- Good working knowledge of Python.
- Experience in preparing test strategy, test planning, test execution, defect management, and overall testing workflow.
- Ability to independently manage and lead testing activities across the project lifecycle.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with business, development, and testing teams.
- Identify and Document Bugs: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing clear bug reports.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Work within an Agile environment, providing details needed for testing and reviewing test plans with the QA team and developers.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve the testing process, identifying areas for enhancement in quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in functional testing, both manual and automation, with a specific command of UI and front-end testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and browser debugging tools.
- Experience with testing across multiple browsers and platforms, including mobile devices.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation in reports.
- Exposure to API testing (Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Tools and Technologies
- Test Automation: Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Test Management: Jira, TestRail.
- Reporting: Knowledge of report generating tools or frameworks, JUnit HTML report, Extent Reports.
