Role Summary

We are seeking a QA Engineer (Dev-Tester) specialized in voice technology to ensure the reliability of our real-time AI platforms. You will move beyond functional testing to perform deep protocol analysis, load testing, and root-cause isolation across SIP and media layers.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Voice Flow Validation: Test complex call lifecycles across telephony stacks (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Kamailio, or Twilio/Exotel).
  • Protocol Analysis: Use sngrep, Wireshark, and Homer (HEPv3) to debug SIP signaling and RTP media streams.
  • Network Performance Testing: Analyze the impact of latency, jitter, and packet loss on voice quality and ASR/NLU accuracy.
  • API & Integration Testing: Validate REST/WebSocket APIs and event-driven architectures (Kafka/Redis).
  • Performance Engineering: Conduct load tests to define and verify concurrent call capacity.
  • Test Automation: Build and maintain automated regression suites using Python, Node.js, or Bash.

Required Skills

  • Telephony: Practical exposure to SIP/RTP fundamentals and real-time call flows.
  • Debugging: Expert level in Linux log debugging and SIP trace analysis.
  • Tools: Proficient with Postman, sngrep, and cloud environments (AWS).
  • Nice to Have: Experience with ASR/NLU testing, dialer campaigns, and CI/CD pipelines.
