QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 49 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing, with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, test planning, defect tracking, and modern QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing of web and/or mobile applications.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand use cases and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Participate in code reviews, release planning, and sprint meetings to provide QA perspective.
• Ensure high-quality documentation of test cases, procedures, and test results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 49 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
• Proficient in writing test cases and executing test cycles.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
