Key Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API modules.
Perform regression, integration, performance, security, compatibility, and accessibility testing.
Validate API responses, workflows, data accuracy, and error handling.
Use test management tools for planning, logging, tracking, and reporting defects.
Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG 2.1), GIGW, CERT-In guidelines, and security best
practices.
Work closely with developers, designers, DevOps, and product teams to reproduce issues and confirm
fixes.
Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including defect reports, test summaries, and release
sign-offs.
Support UAT cycles, production validation, and stabilization activities.
Conduct root-cause analysis and contribute to improving quality processes.
Execute test cases, automation scripts, and integration tests reliably.
Support regression cycles and maintain test data.
Run manual test cases, log defects, assist in test documentation.
Support basic functional testing and environment validation
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile testing processes.
Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case creation for web and mobile platforms.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent
frameworks.
Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, JMeter, or similar tools.
Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling) and load testing concepts.
Understanding of security testing basics (OWASP Top 10) and CERT-In compliance expectations.
Exposure to accessibility testing guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and assistive tools.
Comfort with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation integration.
Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality releases
Certifications (desirable): ISTQB Certified Tester / CSQA / CSTE / Agile Tester Certification /
Automation Testing Certification or equivalent
