Job Summary

Specbee is looking for a Quality Analyst Engineer with strong hands-on experience in

manual and automation testing for Drupal-based CMS projects. This role requires a solid QA

foundation, practical Cypress automation exposure (BDD preferred), and the ability to

independently ensure quality across web applications. You will work closely with developers and

project teams to deliver stable and reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications

● Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

● Develop and maintain Cypress automation tests (BDD / Cucumber-based)

● Write and maintain Gherkin feature files and corresponding step definitions

● Execute and stabilize automated regression test suites

● Perform API testing and basic database validation

● Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps

● Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality releases

● Maintain essential test documentation and follow QA best practices

Required Skills & Experience

● 2–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing

● Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC

● Hands-on experience with Cypress (BDD / Cucumber preferred)

● Working knowledge of JavaScript for test automation

● Experience with API testing tools such as Postman

● Basic SQL knowledge for database testing

● Experience testing CMS-based applications (Drupal preferred)

● Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools

● Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

● Good analytical and communication skills

Good to Have (Optional)

● Exposure to Playwright

● Experience with visual regression testing tools such as Percy

● Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

● Awareness of Drupal architecture or site-building concepts

● Exposure to non-functional testing (performance or security)
