QA Engineer – RPA (UiPath Upgrade & Migration)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to support an enterprise RPA platform upgrade from UiPath 2018 to UiPath 2026.

The role focuses on validating migrated automations, ensuring end-to-end process stability, and driving regression testing and UAT across critical business workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RPA testing and enterprise automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a QA strategy for RPA upgrade validation
• Design and maintain test cases for UiPath automations
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Validate attended and unattended bot executions across environments
• Verify Orchestrator components, including:
• Queues
• Assets
• Schedules
• Robot configurations
• Compare pre- and post-upgrade outputs to ensure consistency
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects through resolution cycles
• Collaborate with RPA developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Assist in production validation and hypercare support after deployment
• Provide test execution reports and defect summaries

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of QA / software testing experience in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience in testing UiPath automation solutions
• Strong understanding of:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT Support
• Defect Lifecycle Management
• Experience writing and executing structured test cases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
