Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
- Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
- Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
- Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
- Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
- Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
- Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
- Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or Chemical Engineering with minimum GPA of 7.5 and above
- 7-9 year of work experience with minimum of 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)
- Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)
- Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including Well construction and Well completions
- Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tools.
- Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
- Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)
