QA Engineer (2-4 Years Experience)
We're looking for a QA Engineer who breaks things before your users do.
MyYogaTeacher powers 200K+ customers and thousands of live 1-on-1 yoga sessions daily across the globe. Real-time video, intelligent matching, global scheduling, multi-currency payments — all running at a quality bar your testing instincts would own and raise.
We're building an AI-first engineering culture. Not as a buzzword — as the way we actually work. You'll be the person who redefines what QA looks like when AI tools are in the loop: faster test generation, smarter coverage, and a quality bar that scales with the product.
If AI-assisted testing, automation-first thinking, and a deep hatred of regressions are already part of your daily workflow — keep reading.
What You'll Own
- End-to-end test coverage across web and mobile — functional, regression, edge cases, and beyond.
- Automation frameworks built on Playwright, designed for reliability and maintainability at scale.
- API testing pipelines that catch contract breaks before they hit production.
- The AI-assisted QA playbook for the team: how we use tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and others to generate, review, and improve test coverage faster.
- Bug triage and root cause collaboration with developers — you don't just file tickets, you help fix problems.
- Quality visibility across sprint cycles: clear documentation, structured reports, and honest status.
What You Bring
The fundamentals:
- 2–4 years in QA / software testing with a strong foundation in manual testing principles.
- Hands-on API testing experience (Postman or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and practical experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
- Solid SQL skills for data validation and backend verification.
- Comfort with Agile/Scrum workflows and bug tracking tools like Jira.
What makes you a standout hire:
- You use AI tools — ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar — not occasionally, but as a core part of how you generate test cases, debug failures, and improve coverage.
- You think in edge cases. You find the flows no one wrote a spec for.
- You have opinions about test architecture — what's worth automating, what's a waste, and how to keep a test suite from becoming a maintenance nightmare.
- You catch issues that developers miss and communicate them without friction.
- You don't wait to be told what to test — you read requirements and ask the uncomfortable questions early.
Bonus Points
- Experience testing real-time or video-based applications.
- Familiarity with performance or load testing tools.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into release workflows.
- Public writing, talks, or open-source contributions related to QA or test automation.
What It's Like Here
- Small, high-output team. Low bureaucracy, high autonomy.
- Ship weekly. Your coverage keeps that pace honest.
- AI tooling isn't a side project — it's how we build.
- 200K+ customers, 335K+ five-star reviews, 95% sessions rated 5 stars.
- Competitive compensation + meaningful equity.
- Headquartered in California, engineering in Bangalore.
