QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

DevsLane is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in production-grade projects and end-to-end quality assurance ownership. The ideal candidate should have independently handled QA responsibilities for live products, collaborated closely with development teams, and ensured smooth delivery across releases.

• Lead QA activities for production-grade web applications from requirement analysis to release sign-off.
• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Perform manual testing across functional, integration, regression, and UAT flows.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and release cycles.
• Validate APIs, database flows, and backend integrations where required.
• Coordinate with overseas clients/stakeholders and provide clear QA updates and reports.
• Ensure product quality, usability, and performance across environments.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4+ years of hands-on QA experience on production/live projects.
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn, especially in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong experience in manual testing for web applications.
• Experience independently owning QA responsibilities for projects/modules.
• Strong understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression planning.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and release cycles.
• Hands-on exposure to PostgreSQL for data validation and testing.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Trello, or similar platforms. 
• Basic API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience testing mobile applications.
• Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar..
• Experience handling communication with overseas/international clients is preferred.

• Someone who has taken ownership of QA from the testing side and contributed actively to release quality.
• A detail-oriented professional with strong accountability and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

INR 8-12 LPA (Exceptions possible for outstanding candidates)
