QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing:

• Extensive experience in manual testing, particularly for mobile applications (both iOS and Android).

• Well versed in creating a test plan, STLC process, Capa process.

• Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and tracking issues in Jira.• Expertise in fetching and analyzing logs to troubleshoot issues effectively.

2. Automation Testing:

• Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium for Web, and Appium for application test automation.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and writing reusable scripts and fixing the scripts on failure.

• Knowledge of the Maestro framework for mobile UI automation is a strong plus.

3. API Testing:

• Experience with manual API testing using tools like Postman and ability to understand the API Automation preferably Karate framework.

• Ability to validate API responses, check logs, and verify integrations.

4. Project Tools & Collaboration:

• Strong understanding of the Jira ticketing process, including creating, updating, and tracking issues.

• Effective communication skills for active collaboration with developers, stakeholders, and team members.

• Interpersonal skills for clearly conveying requirements to developers.

• Active engagement in sprint planning, bug triaging, and review discussions.

• Team-oriented attitude with active participation in discussions and a willingness to take initiative.

• A proactive team player with the ability to work in an agile environment.

• Quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
