QA Engineer – Manual & Automated Testing

The Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS web application and mobile app. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, execute, and automate test coverage — playing a key role in shaping the quality culture of our team.

What You'll Do

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles

• Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium

• Test across the full stack — web application and mobile app

• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing

• Conduct API testing to validate backend services and integrations

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance

• Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are resolved, verified, and closed

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and QA reports

• Advocate for quality standards and contribute to process improvement across the engineering team

• Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in a QA / Software Testing role

• Strong proficiency in both manual testing and test automation

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium

• Experience testing SaaS web applications across backend and frontend

• Experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies — functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent

• Strong ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable bug reports and test cases

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices

• Experience working with Git and version-controlled environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pest for backend testing — highly regarded

• Experience with browser-level automated testing frameworks

• Knowledge of frontend component testing tools such as React Testing Library or Jest

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave

• Experience with performance or load testing tools

• Background in aged care, healthcare, or SaaS product environments
