We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer-LOC CHANGE to join our team in India. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers looking to kickstart their career in Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with the development team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Perform regression testing and ensure fixes are implemented correctly
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
- Maintain automated test scripts and execute them as needed
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations
- Continuously improve QA processes and practices
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing tools
- Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL)
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
