QA Engineer 1 – L2 (Manual & Automation)

CTC Range (LPA): 11.25 - 13.50
Role Summary
We are looking for an L2 QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for web platforms and technical products. The role requires independent test execution, ownership of assigned modules, and contribution to automation and release quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual Testing
- Design and execute test cases based on product requirements
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Validate UI/UX behavior, workflows, and edge cases
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- Participate in requirement and release readiness reviews
Automation Testing
- Write and maintain automated test scripts for critical flows
- Identify test scenarios suitable for automation
- Execute automation suites and analyze failures
- Support integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines
Product & Platform Quality
- Test end-to-end user journeys across modules
- Validate APIs and backend workflows
- Collaborate with developers for issue triage and fixes
- Ensure quality standards are met before release
Must Have Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC / STLC
- Experience testing web-based platforms or SaaS products
- Hands-on experience with:
-Test case creation & execution
-Bug tracking and reporting
- Automation experience with any one:
-Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Programming knowledge in Java / JavaScript / Python
- API testing experience (Postman or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Git and Agile workflows
Good to Have
- CI/CD exposure
- Basic SQL or data validation skills
- Performance or security testing exposure
- Experience working in product-focused teams
