QA ENGINEER

Test Strategy & Automation Development

• Design and implement test strategies for functional, regression, performance, and data integrity testing

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and test cases

• Drive automation-first approach across QA processes

• Ensure shift-left testing and early defect identification

Test Execution & Quality Assurance

• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality

• Ensure full test coverage across applications and releases

• Perform regression and performance testing as required

• Validate data integrity across systems and pipelines

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with development, business, and product teams

• Ensure alignment on quality standards and testing requirements

• Conduct QA workshops and training sessions

• Promote QA best practices across teams

Tools & Technology Management

• Use automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium, and UFT

• Work with test management tools like Jira and qTest

• Manage test environments, configurations, and test data

• Support CI/CD integration using DevOps tools

Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis

• Identify, log, and track defects throughout the SDLC

• Perform root cause analysis for critical issues

• Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality

• Support code reviews and testability improvements

Advanced Testing & Technical Skills

• Perform SQL-based data validation and testing

• Exposure to ETL, data pipelines, and BI testing (DAX, MDX)

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, Postman

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments
